Eve, Chrissy and Tasco working on retrieves!!

Working on retrieves, lots of fun for the dogs and us. :) Eve is doing well, she loves to retrieve, and has a strong desire to please. Chrissy has no problems, she is happy to do what she was born to do.....!!Tasco is a joy to work and play with. It comes au naturale for him, he ssees the girls, and emulates them..What a little keeper!! We love them all dearly, and hope at some point to put some field titles on them. If not, oh well, :)

Riversmoke Labrador Retrievers

The girls are getting anxious for the water season. Already finding openings in the nearby brook, they are happy to see the crack of spring as it unfolds into a new season. It won't be long and the sound of the Canadian Geese as the migrate to their summer destinations, will fill the air.
They pass over and around the area, locating to a nearby pond. Some stay for the duration of summer, as others move on to ventures known only by them. Experiences, life, hardships, and of course, a place they call home...

What's new at Sunsmoke Lodge

The weather has been great lately. 10 FULL days of blue skies and sunshine.
We've been doing a few things with the lodge. A little spring cleaning, new rugs, and a few minor changes in the interior setup.
Sometimes we sit out there to get away from the phone, television, and enjoy the birds and dogs. The feeders are hosting a variety of new spring birds, on their way from where they've been, and where they are going . :)
